Musical Museum & Kew Lights - 5/12/2018

Thanks to Neil Shilling and Richard Willey for contributing some of the above pictures to which they retain copyright.
We would like  to thank you both for organising such a wonderful visit to The Music  Museum and Christmas at Kew.  Both venues were such a treat, the Music  Museum's fantastic collection of antique  keyboard instruments was quite  exceptional, and to have them all play and be explained to us made the  visit come alive. Following this, the concert by Chris Barber (the  second), with his excellent singers was a real delight, and with the  magical change of colours on the organ, and excellent passage of visual  scenes as a backdrop, plus procesco, tea and sandwiches, was more than  we could ask for!
KEW - the main  attraction exceeded all our expectations. On a lovely dry. warm, clear  evening, the variety and extent of the extensive light show was a real  treat, and taking about one hour to see it all, a perfect length.
The problem-free journeys on the M25 were another bonus, and Graham's excellent driving and parking much appreciated.
All  in all a great start to Christmas for those lucky enough to take part  in such a happy, friendly and well thought out occasion.
Rosemary & Herbie Doel
Thank you for the excellent outing we enjoyed yesterday - the concert,  the tea, Kew Gardens' Christmas Trail and the efficient organisation  (the extra drop-off in Tonbridge was MUCH appreciated). It was my first  outing with Tonbridge U3A, well up to the standard of the many I enjoyed  with my previous U3A over the past 25 years! I look forward to joining  some of your future outings.
